After graduating from the prestigious Hymers College, Tom scoured the Oxbridge universities for a course that would satisfy his appetite for search engine optimisation but nothing came up (it was quite a new phenomenon at the time). Instead Tom developed his internet strategies at home whilst funding his plans working as a mechanical engineer for Jarvis Rail. The time eventually came when Tom wanted to make a career out of his technical internet knowledge and he left Jarvis to come and work for WMpS.
