Garden & Leisure signs deal with WMpS to re-design their ecommerce website

Web Marketplace Solutions have teamed up with Corby & Fellas to produce a new ecommerce website for Garden & Leisure.

Garden & Leisure have a total of 7 stores throughout the UK.  And while their visitors enjoy days out shopping for plants and other quality products at their garden centres, we felt that the online shopping experience could be just as enjoyable for website visitors.

Like many B2C companies, their website has been in operation for a number of years and they wanted a fresh start in order to make sure their site is as user friendly as possible.  They also wanted to have a site that was optimised to rank on search engines.

WMpS are building the HTML designs for 11 sections including home, landing, product and check out pages.  We’re then handing finished templates over to Corby & Fellas, a software and back end supplier, to build the ecommerce platform.  But our work won’t stop there, we are also going to advise on product assessment, SEO, and Google Analytics to make sure the new site gets all the attention it deserves!

Since we first met Garden & Leisure back in September 2009 at the Online Marketing Show in London, it’s great to finally put all the wheels into motion after everyone’s hard work!
